I work with individuals, adults and adolescents, in individual therapy. The therapy may be short-term or long-term. The sessions are 45 minutes and patients may come to sessions from one to three times a week.

People come to therapy for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is clear why therapy is desired. It may be feelings of anxiety or depression, uncontrollable anger or sadness, difficulties in relationships (personal and/or professional) or other problems in living. Some people enter therapy for reasons that are not so clear: feelings of unease that don’t make sense, a sense of dissatisfaction or frustration with life, not knowing what one wants or how to get it. There are also those who seek therapy because they want to know and understand themselves better. In all cases, I work to get to know each person and to provide a safe space where we can talk together to address each person’s unique situation.
